Beetroot raita


  • Chop boiled beetroot and add home-made yogurt. Add salt, roasted cumin powder and garnish with cilantro. It’s that simple.
  • There’s no need to do any extra seasoning. Most of us don’t need that extra oil and roasted cumin powder gives it a very nice flavor.
  • Instead of boiled beetroot, you can also add shredded raw beetroot. Taste equally good.
  • According to Ayurveda,  one should eat yogurt only in lunch time and not dinner.
